Monday 12th June (Kings  Birthday): KNOCKLOFTY RESERVE WALK

This is an easy walk close to the city, suitable for children and families; dogs also welcome.

A 4 km walk taking about 2 hours, following the summit loop track around the Knocklofty reserve through open forest, passing the frog ponds, and from various vantage points along the walk there are views across the city, up to kunanyi / Mount Wellington and down the Derwent estuary.

Meeting at Wellspring 1.45pm to car pool, or 2pm in the car park at the end of Forest Road.
